Mike was MD of Ind Coope Sales when I arrived as Head Brewer of Romford Brewery, a sister company within Allied Breweries. Mike was always willing to share a joke, but also keen to iron out any problems - not that we had many!

In 1990, I moved to Showerings (Babycham) in Somerset and was very pleased to host Mike & his team for their annual conference in 1991, which was a great success
